Draw Your Own Eustace Tilley
Join us for an entry level hands-on workshop which provides participants the opportunity to develop their creative minds and think about art & material history more critically. This workshop is inspired by the MFA-IVC exhibition Artifacts & Fictions, currently on display in Olin Library’s Ginkgo Room. Attendants will be introduced to the history of Eustace Tilley as the New Yorker magazine cover mascot and encouraged to draw their own versions of Eustace Tilley. Participants will also have the opportunity to discuss what they made and share their thoughts on portraiture making.
Free and open to all.
