Visitor Parking

Visitors to the Danforth Campus can park in the Danforth underground garage, Snow Way, and Millbrook garages.  All visitor spaces are indicated on the campus parking map. The Danforth University Center (DUC) Garage is located at 6475 Forsyth Ave., St. Louis, MO 63130. The first level of the DUC Garage and the ramp leading to the second level is designated Visitor/Admissions Parking Only.

These garages are equipped with gate-arm technology. To gain access, visitors will need to pull a ticket at the entrance and park in a designated visitor space. Charges are incurred by the hour and must be paid prior to exiting at a pay station or via pay lane attendant. Specific instructions for visitors parking in each of the four garages is outlined on the Washington University Parking and Transportation website. Charges will be incurred by the hour.

Passport Parking App

Passport Parking, an app that allows individuals to pay for parking by the hour, is also now available designated visitor spaces located on the fourth floor of the Wallace Garage and along the west and south sides of the main building at North Campus. To learn more, watch this video.

Off-Hours Visitors

Visitors who will be parking on campus during weekends (between 5 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Monday) are permitted to park in yellow zones without displaying a parking permit. While there is no cost to park in any yellow or visitor space within the DUC, Snow Way, Millbrook or West Campus garages after 5 p.m., visitors will still be required to pull a ticket to gain access.

Daily permits are no longer available for purchase and are no longer valid. The parking meters near the DUC and along Forsyth have been removed and replaced with permit parking in those areas.
