“Iwanami Bunko/岩波文庫” has a century-long history in spreading and popularizing esteemed classical titles in literature and broader academia around the world through its publication in Japan in the affordable format of a paperback. The East Asian Library holds as many as 700 titles, primarily published from 1945 to 1965.
