Workshops to Support New Data-Sharing Regulations
The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) recently put out a memo stating that all federally funded, scientific data needs to be shared without delay, and funders were encouraged to make that a requirement. In January, the NIH will be ahead of the ball, as its stronger data-sharing requirements are going into effect.
Data Services at Washington University Libraries have devised an hourlong workshop to help answer questions and support the ability of researchers to comply with these new requirements. Attendees will learn more about the new requirements, as well as resources to be in compliance with these new regulations, and how to utilize the support available for WashU researchers.
