Libraries Search Tool Primo Renamed to Quick Search

On Tuesday, May 28, the University Libraries’ discovery search tool Primo was renamed to Quick Search. Quick Search replaces the Classic Catalog as the default search option on the University Libraries homepage. Quick Search contains all of Washington University Libraries’ holdings, including books, journals, periodicals, and multimedia. The default search also shows results from a large index comprising billions of records for popular and scholarly articles, as well as other materials.

This update will help us better meet the needs of users. The Classic Catalog and the other options on the Libraries homepage search drop-down menu will remain available.
