Changes Are Coming to Open Scholarship

Significant changes are coming to Open Scholarship, the University Libraries’ repository that provides free and open access to the scholarly output of the university community by gathering it in one place.

We will relaunch Open Scholarship as a new, dynamic repository based on a robust, community-driven, open-source platform that aligns with WashU’s open access values, in contrast to the current commercial software that supports Open Scholarship today. All content in Open Scholarship will be migrated to the new repository.

Over the next few months, we’ll provide additional updates along with more details about the features and functionality you can expect to see in 2021. There are no changes to Open Scholarship for the fall 2020 semester, and you can continue to use and access it as usual.

For more information about sharing your work via Open Scholarship, please see Repository Services. Please contact Digital Library Program Services at digital@wumail.wustl.edu if you have any questions.
