Snakes on the Page

Snakes, serpents, vipers, or pythons… regardless of what you call them, it is undeniable that these legless reptiles have captivated humans throughout time. The Snakes on the Page exhibition showcases how snakes have influenced art and form in printed work.

The exhibition, organized by Special Collections Student Assistant Emmett Campbell, highlights the collection’s abstract to literal representations of snakes, depicting them as man-eating beasts and docile creatures.
