Coins Across Time: Ancient to American Numismatics

A gold coin with the profile of Roman emperor Constantius II etched into its face.

Drawing from the Washington University Wulfing Collection of ancient coins and from private collectors, the Coins Across Time exhibition examines aspects of numismatics from the earliest coinage of the ancient Mediterranean world to present-day America.

The Coins Across Time exhibition was organized by Len Augsburger for Washington University Libraries and includes materials courtesy of the American Numismatic Association, Wayne Homren, Stuart & Maureen Levine, Joel Orosz, Robert Rodriguez, and the John Max Wulfing Coin Collections.
