Coins Across Time: Ancient to American Numismatics

A gold coin with the profile of Roman emperor Constantius II etched into its face.

Drawing from the WashU Wulfing Collection of ancient coins and private collectors, the Coins Across Time exhibition examines aspects of numismatics from the earliest coinage of the ancient Mediterranean world to present-day America.

Len Augsburger organized the Coins Across Time exhibition for WashU Libraries. It includes materials courtesy of the American Numismatic Association, Wayne Homren, Stuart & Maureen Levine, Joel Orosz, Robert Rodriguez, and the John Max Wulfing Coin Collections.
