A Celebration of Women at WashU

The A Celebration of Women at WashU exhibition was organized in conjunction with the Woman’s Club of WashU in honor of their Centennial Anniversary (1910-2010).

The achievements of women have marked every aspect of WashU history, in its excellence of teaching, in the depth of its research, and in the lives of so many students. The stories of these accomplishments could fill pages upon pages.

This exhibition can only offer a beginning look into this history by highlighting some of these women and their accomplishments. We hope this exhibition will also inspire future students, scholars, and historians to explore the often untold stories that have shaped and continue to shape WashU.
