Zotero – Choose Your Own Adventure 

Attention Zotero users! Experienced any challenges or vexing mysteries while using Zotero? Bring your questions to this workshop for one-on-one problem solving. Or, simply come to discover some powerful but lesser-known features, such as:

  • Metadata retrieval for the PDFs stored on your computer 
  • Integrated word processing to cite as-you-write 
  • Customized imported citations 
  • Annotation options for PDFs and Notes 
  • Third-party plug-ins 
  • How to import from other citation managers, such as EndNote and Mendeley 

Free and open to all, registration required for Zoom link.

Note: If possible, please download the Zotero desktop client on your own laptop prior to the session and bring it to the session. In addition, please create your Zotero online account. If you are attending the session in person, please bring your own laptop.

About STAR (Supplemental Training in Academic Research) Workshops

The STAR workshops offer students insight into more advanced topics, including Zotero, citing sources, and intellectual property. Each STAR workshop will be presented twice during the semester.
