NEXT Award 2022 Presentations

Join us for this opportunity to hear from the 2022 Newman Exploration Travel Fund (NEXT) Awardees, who will share presentations about their travels, followed by a poster session and special reception with opportunities to interact with the winners.

Presenters will include:

Ganesh Chelluboyina, PhD candidate in the Energy, Environmental, and Chemical Engineering Department at the McKelvey School of Engineering and traveled to Iceland.

Olivia Dres, an Arts & Sciences student majoring in Spanish and the Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology program, who visited a number of countries in Western Europe.

Asha Futterman, who is in the poetry MFA program in Arts & Sciences and traveled to Amsterdam.

Kyle Melles who graduated in May 2023 with degrees in history and economics from Arts & Sciences and traveled to the UK.

Danielle Ridolfi, a graduate student in the MFA in Illustration and Visual Culture program at the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Art, traveled to Italy.

Donna Vatnick, who is pursuing an MFA in creative nonfiction writing and traveled to France.

Javier Ventura, video editor and motion designer in University Marketing and Communications, who traveled to Jerusalem.
