How to Get Published

Even though academic publishing, traditional publishing, and self-publishing and the writing material associated with each have very different practices, there are common concepts, tips, and resources you should know about during your publishing journey. Whether you’re working on something creative, academic, or something in between, this workshop will show you where to start, what to be aware of, and how to have a successful publishing experience.

About STAR (Supplemental Training in Academic Research) Workshops

The STAR workshops offer students insight into more advanced topics, including Zotero, citing sources, and intellectual property. Each STAR workshop will be presented twice during the semester.
