Amateur Movie Day Screening
Join us for the first-ever Amateur Movie Day, an international celebration of non-professional filmmaking. The event will showcase the public premiere of the preservation print of The Maid of McMillan (1916), the earliest known student film, made at WashU.
In addition to this historic film, the event will feature a selection of other student-made films from our collection, along with additional titles generously provided by other archives.
Free and open to all.
Note: This event will take place at the Arkadin Cinema and Bar, 5228 Gravois Avenue, St. Louis, 63116.
