Bio

Treasa joined the Washington University Libraries in August 2022 and is responsible for supporting copyright information policy and education. She delivers services and outreach to faculty, students, and staff regarding topics such as fair use, authors’ rights, Creative Commons licensing, and privacy that connect to teaching, research, and library services. Treasa aids the Scholarly Communication and Digital Publishing Services program to promote diverse formats of scholarly output and infrastructures for research dissemination across various disciplines to promote accessibility and impact.

Treasa holds an undergraduate degree in English studies with an emphasis in publishing from Illinois State University and earned a master’s degree in library and information science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2016.
