Bio

Sam joined the Washington University Libraries in June 2022 as the Biology Librarian. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative and World Literature (May 2020) and a Master of Science in Library and Information Science (May 2022) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Throughout her bachelor’s program, Sam worked as a student assistant at the Funk Agricultural, Consumer, and Environmental Sciences (ACES) Library. During her master’s, Sam became the lead graduate assistant at the Funk ACES Library and the Veterinary Medicine Library. She also worked as a practicum student at the Grainger Engineering Library and Information Center for the Carle Illinois College of Medicine’s Virtual Library.
