Bio

Kris has worked at the Washington University Libraries for nearly 13 years. She taught English at Clayton High School for 11 years. Her interests in teaching and research arose from formative experiences with maritime research projects and leading sail training and ecology education trips. Kris earned a BA at Middlebury College, an MAT (education and English) at Washington University, and an MLS at the University of Missouri-Columbia.

  • Conference presentation, National Conference on Higher Education in Prison, November 2019: Creating a Research Assistant Program for Prison Education: Case Study, Washington University in St. Louis Prison Education Project.
  • Co-taught fall 2020 course PolSci3267: Political Science Research in the Contemporary Academic Library & Prison Education Project Research Partnership.
