3D Visualization Specialist

Harper Tooch joined the Data Services team as the 3D Data Visualization Specialist in 2024. She manages the WashU Libraries’ Audiovisual/Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality (AVA) and the Data & Visualization Exploration Studios in Olin Library. Additionally, Harper supports the WashU community in creating and using 3D visualization for their research.

Harper holds a BA in Anthropology, with minors in Archaeology and Art History, from Cornell University and an MA in Art History and Archaeology from Washington University in St. Louis. Before joining the WashU Libraries, Harper worked as a professional archaeologist in California and Egypt’s Western Desert.
