Public Domain Day Film Screening
Explore the vital role of the public domain in advancing both the sciences and the arts—both beneficial and trivial—by watching two films from 1929 that have just entered it: Luis Buñuel and Salvador Dalí’s Un Chien Andalou and the Marx Brothers’ The Cocoanuts. The titles will be projected from archival 16mm prints.
Free and open to all.
Note: This event will take place at the Arkadin Cinema and Bar, 5228 Gravois Avenue, St. Louis, 63116.
