Swank Top 1,000 Films Available at WashU

Washington University Libraries have recently entered a partnership with Swank Digital Campus to subscribe to Swank Motion Pictures’ Top 1,000 streaming film collection. This will provide access to students, faculty, and staff to view not just the core classics of film history, but also films and documentaries across genres, contemporary films, and international films. The collection streams films from major studios and independent producers.

Swank Top 1,000 Films will support classroom instruction at WashU. The collection contains many films frequently requested by faculty at WashU for their classes. The films are available for viewing for both educational and entertainment purposes by WashU patrons.

If you are on campus or off-campus, simply log in to Swank Digital Campus with your WUSTL key credentials to watch any films in the collection.

Instructors should contact Olin Library Reserves to request films or documentaries for a class that are not in the Top 1,000 list. Visit the Streaming Reserves Policy page or contact the Olin Library Reserves staff (reserve@wumail.wustl.edu, (314) 935-5451) for assistance.
