Re-Drawn: Pictures, Plots & Portrayals from Special Collections

The Re-Drawn exhibition presents materials curated by the Master of Fine Arts in Illustration and Visual Culture (MFA-IVC) students as part of their spring Exhibition & Engagement course requirement.

The class focuses on the planning and development of exhibitions and public engagement in special collections practice. Students participating in the class conduct research using materials from the Dowd Illustration Research Archive, Rare Books, and other collections, organizing individual exhibitions to understand practical and theoretical issues related to studying and displaying collections.
