New Student Leadership Opportunity at the Libraries

Washington University Libraries are launching a new advisory group called the Libraries Student Advisory Group (LSAG). The aims of this effort include engaging students in better ways, getting direct feedback and ideas, and facilitating two-way communication between the Libraries administration and the student body.

We are hoping to recruit up to 10 students to join us for this opportunity. Membership includes a year-long commitment and will involve 2-3 meetings per semester, in addition to optional opportunities to assist with events and orientation activities. All students in good academic standing on the Danforth Campus are welcome and encouraged to apply.

Applications are available online and will remain open through 5 pm on Friday, March 3. The Libraries are aiming to recruit a diverse mix of undergraduate and graduate students, including representation across disciplines. Students will receive an annual stipend of $500 for their time and insights.

More details are available on the Libraries Student Advisory Group page. Please reach out to Kimberly Singer (ksinger@wustl.edu) with any questions.
