Bio
Walter joined the Washington University Libraries in October 2019. Before moving to St. Louis, he held positions at a number of libraries in New York City including the Goethe-Institut New York, the Leo Baeck Institute, and the Morgan Library & Museum. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in German from Washington State University in 2010 and a dual master’s degree in library and information science and art history from Pratt Institute in 2015.
Selected projects, activities, and accomplishments
- Current convener of the Germanists Discussion Group of the European Studies Section of the Association of College and Research Libraries.
- Editor of the Annual Bibliography of the Mike Lützeler Contemporary German Literature Collection.
- Co-organizer of the International Writers Series.
