Thomas Gallery and New Exhibition Spaces

Thomas Gallery on Level 1 of Olin Library

Libraries are increasingly highlighting their unique collections to promote cultural and intellectual enrichment. When the Transformation is complete, Olin will have increased space for exhibitions and collections in the Thomas Gallery and the Newman Tower of Collections and Exploration.

• The Thomas Gallery, a lively pathway located on Level 1 and spanning the distance between the north and south entrances, will showcase a rare copy of the Declaration of Independence on permanent display.

• A new, state-of-the-art exhibition chamber will support an unprecedented variety of rotating exhibits from the Libraries’ own collections and beyond.

• Increased exhibition and storage space for special collections means faculty, students, and staff will have better access to these materials on site for classes and research, as well as more opportunities to co-curate exhibits.
