The Fossil Free Wash U student campaign has joined the national Sunrise Movement’s Climate Legacy Time Capsule Project.  Three students from the group brought the time capsule to University Archives today to be saved as part of their collection with instructions to open the time capsule on November 15, 2067.  The time capsule contains “representations of the Washington University community’s concerns about climate change. These concerns include that which we hope to protect, what our current efforts are to combat climate change, and what we would like to see in the future,” said student Allie Lindstrom.

This is just one way that University Archives captures student group history.
