Data and Visualization Exploration (DaVE) – currently unavailable

DaVE is a studio space located in the Data Services suite on level A of Olin Library. DaVE is designed for 3D exploration. Here, digital 3D data can be captured via photogrammetry or structured light scanning. Models for analysis or visualization in virtual reality (VR) are created using tools, such as Metashape and Unity. Headsets currently available for use in DaVE are the Oculus, Hololens, and Vive. We develop models in Metashape and Unity, which can be viewed in the headsets, but we also have plug and play applications.
