Save the Date for the Dedication of the Douglas B. Dowd Modern Graphic History Library

Mark your calendars! Tuesday, September 27, 2016, is the dedication of the Douglas B. Dowd Modern Graphic History Library. Events are scheduled throughout the day with a reception taking place at 6:00 pm, followed by a lecture by Sam Fox School faculty member Douglas B. Dowd.


10a – noon: Tour of the Dowd Modern Graphic History Library collections; West Campus Library, 7245 Forsyth Boulevard, Lower Level.

1 – 4p: Illustration, Consumer Culture and Social History, a symposium. Keynote lecture by Stephanie Haboush Plunkett, chief curator and deputy director, Norman Rockwell Museum, Stockbridge, Massachusetts. George Warren Brown Hall, Brown Lounge, Danforth Campus.


Reception, Mark C. Steinberg Hall, Danforth Campus.

6:30 – 7:30p

Invisible Pictures, a lecture by Professor Douglas B. Dowd; Steinberg Auditorium, Danforth Campus.
