Research center’s video lectures streaming in Open Scholarship

Open Scholarship is now home to a series of approximately 150 seminar videos from the Cardiac Bioelectricity and Arrhythmia Center (CBAC), which is within the School of Engineering. The videos are streamable recordings of lectures given by clinicians and researchers from around the world and date back to 2006.

This project was a collaborative effort between Emily Stenberg (Digital Publishing & Preservation Librarian), Lauren Todd (Engineering Librarian), and Huyen (Gwen) Nguyen (CBAC Administrator). Both Emily and Huyen are members of the Danforth Staff Council, which is how the project came about. The CBAC was looking for a new online home for its videos, and Huyen contacted Emily following a Staff Council meeting to ask what was available within the Libraries. Lauren worked with Huyen over the summer to access the materials and add them to Open Scholarship.

The videos cannot be downloaded but can be streamed via Box and do not require a log-in. New videos will be added as the seminar series continues. If you have a project idea for Open Scholarship, please contact Emily Stenberg at emily.stenberg@wustl.edu or digital@wustl.edu.
