Olin Library Extends Hours

Starting Monday, November 8, John M. Olin Library will be extending the building hours:

  • Monday-Thursday: 8:30 am to midnight
  • Friday: 8:30 am to 8 pm
  • Saturday: 9 am to 7 pm
  • Sunday: 9 am to midnight

In addition, the Libraries will offer 24/7 access to Olin Library during reading week and final exams, starting Friday, December 10 through Tuesday, December 21.

“I’m thrilled to finally be announcing extended operating hours for Olin Library,” says Mimi Calter, Vice Provost and University Librarian. “It has been a pleasure to welcome our users back to all of our library spaces this fall, but the need for longer hours has been both clear and challenging to address. This announcement will directly address the needs of our faculty, students, and staff.”

Olin Library will operate on a reduced schedule through winter break, but resume the extended hours noted above at the start of the spring 2022 semester on January 18, 2022.
