News and notes for math, April 2017

Interesting post: … and Elsevier taketh away about changes in the use license given for Elsevier math journals which are free to read 4 years after publication. This also underlines the fact that authors need to keep copies of their negotiations with publishers because sometimes the journal author rights pages change; you retain the rights you had when you signed some rights over to a publisher but it is NOT easy to find what rights you retained if you didn’t keep the records.

Check Olin Transformation Update for approximate dates of opening Olin Library north entrance (June 30), closing Olin Library south entrance (July 6), and closing Arc spaces (May 11).

I’m experimenting with a scheduler so you may make appointments with me online, if you wish. You’ll get more customized availability if you email me of course. Make an appointment with Ruth
