WU Libraries recently acquired several new e-resources. We’re excited to share info about these new subscriptions. Read on for details.
Immigrations, Migrations and Refugees : Global Perspectives, 1941-1996: This database contains news and analysis from reports gathered daily between the early 1940s and 1996 by a U.S. government organization that became part of the CIA. The reports include translated and English-language radio and television broadcasts, newspapers, periodicals and government documents. Additionally, the archive contains one-of-a-kind analysis of the reports.
JSTOR: Through JSTOR, WU Libraries provide access to more than 3000 journal titles, from whenever each title began publication to a point three or five years ago. The Libraries recently added the Arts & Sciences “full suite” (modules I- XV), plus the Life Sciences Collection, Hebrew Journals Collection, and Music Collection.
St. Louis Post-Dispatch: Previously, WU Libraries had access to the paper through 1992. With the new subscription, access now runs through 2003.
SAGE Sociology Video Collection: Supporting students and researchers at all levels, this collection offers more than 120 hours of video covering the full spectrum of the sociology discipline. It offers “In Practice” videos spotlighting careers and practitioners in the real world, as well as tutorial videos that shed light on hot topics within the field and case-study videos exploring areas of research and how they impact policy.
