This year, Modern American Dance Company (MADCO) celebrated its 40th anniversary season with “Freedom,” a commissioned work by choreographers Jennifer Archibold, Gina Patterson, Cecil Slaughter, and Nejla Yatkin. The company partnered with WU Libraries on the piece. Members of MADCO spent time in Olin Library, researching civil rights-related materials. We’re proud of the collaboration and excited to share HEC-TV’s video about the project. Enjoy!
