Using Python for Data Analysis

  • October 2, 2019 • 10 AM – 12 PM
  • McDonnell Medical Sciences Bldg, Rm. 100

This is the second of two introductory Python workshops from WashU’s Center for High Performance Computing (CHPC), Institute for Informatics (I2), and Becker Library.

These workshops are geared toward researchers that are new to programming and Python. Each workshop starts with a 30-minute presentation covering important background information and then the remaining 90 minutes are devoted to hands-on activities. Please note that they take place in the McDonnell Medical Sciences Building (Rm 100) on the School of Medicine campus.

The goals of this workshop include learning to write Python code to perform data analysis and visualization, and creating a Python virtual environment on a remote system.

Registration is required.
