The Pastime Is Prologue: A Public Conversation about Major League Baseball’s Influence on American Pop Culture

Washington University Professors Gerald Early and Douglas B. Dowd, adjunct instructor in the College of Arts & Sciences Kathleen Nelson, along with avid sports memorabilia collector and alumnus Lewis Levey, MBA ’67, invite you to an in-depth panel discussion on the nuanced impact of professional baseball and American pop culture. Materials from the Julian Edison Department of Special Collections and loaned items from the Lewis Levey Sports Memorabilia Collection will be on display.
