Deutsches Literatur-Lexikon : das 20. Jahrhundert : biographisches-bibliographisches Handbuch–NEW eREFERENCE

deutschesliteraturlexikon20 The Libraries now have the Deutsches Literatur-Lexikon: das 20. Jahrhundert available as an eBook.  Deutsches Literatur-Lexikon: das 20. Jahrhundert is a reference tool which covers 20th century authors from German-speaking countries and those living elsewhere who write primarily in German. Short biographies for each author are included as well as extensive bibliographies with citations for works, translations, letters, unpublished works, bibliographies, secondary literature, and more. Entries are organized alphabetically by author.

Full text searching of volumes as well as printing and downloading options are available. To access, first click on the volume you need and then “table of contents.” You will then be shown the contents for that particular volume.

Note: this work is still being published. Thus far, only volumes 1 to 26 covering “AAB” to “KELTER” have been released. WU has access for vol. 1-26.  Our subscription for this reference tool thus far has been for the print version; however, starting in 2017, we will only have access to new volumes as eBooks. The print volumes we have (1 to 26) are still available for use.
