Letter to Faculty, March 2018

Dear Danforth Campus Faculty,

I am writing as a follow-up to my February 26 email communication to you describing the Libraries’ Short-term Collection Space Management Project. This Project is designed to manage the Libraries’ congested collection space by selectively removing print journal volumes to which the University Libraries have immediate or near immediate alternative access.

Project information can be found at library.wustl.edu/about/policies/collection-space-management-initiative/. The first list of journal volumes eligible for removal are now available for your review.

Subject librarians for your respective areas will be in communication about this Project and are available to answer any questions you may have. Today, March 5, we begin the first eight-week list review period. The review period will close on April 30.

Please visit the project website to learn more about the initiative and expect to hear from your subject librarian shortly. I am also happy to receive your inquiries or comments.
