Sandeep, Thanks for the information. I've run into the problem that the imaging software I'm using (several different programs, and yes, off-the-shelf) won't perform JPEG comression on anything less than 24-bit files. Any recommendations for software which does?
Forgive the ignorance, since I haven't subscribed to any usenet discussions.. is USENET_JPEG all one needs to connect/subscribe?
