The Florida State Archives has issued a Request For Proposal for a consultant to assist us in planning an imaging system for our Florida Photographic Collection. The purpose is to hire someone to analyze the Collection for conversion to digital format, to assess the possibilities for interface with the existing systems in the State Archives and the State LIbrary of Florida, to pro- vide written recommendations for a digital photographic network- ing system, to develop an RFP to implement the recommendations, and to assist us in evaluationg the responses.We have $25,000 available for fees and expenses.
