Ran across the note on screen savers. I have been using a commercial
package made by Microsoft called "MS Scenes". They have three
different packages that have about 48 different scanned photos that
cycle through as a screen saver. I purchased the Sierra Club
Collection that has some great nature shots. The other packages
include "Outer Space Collection" that has images of planets, stars,
etc. and the "Impressionists Collection" which has images of
Impressionist paintings. The package retails for around $20.
I have had wonderful comments on the great scenes and creative use of
this kind of screen saver. The retail package also allows you to send
in 3 of your own photos that can be scanned (by Genigraphics
Corporation) and sent back for your use, free of charge. Users can
also add in their own scanned images as .BMP or .DIB files.
Check it out...they really are quite amazing!
