It is my intent to pose criticsms, and then see how well the policy and practice of the peace corps stands up. No system is perfect, I simply wish to determine whether the impact of the peace corps is positive, negitive or neutral. I was interested in joining and feel a reaserch paper on the topic would allow me to better see what the peace corps is about. Also I am doing interviews with local ex-peace corps volunteers to get a personal rather than academic point of view. I realize my approch is negitive but I feel that the peace corps should be able to defend its falures just as it expounds its success'. Unfortuantly the falures are not widely brodcast.
