The International Development Research Centre (IDRC) has a gopher server (gopher.idrc.ca) which provides access to our project databases, publications information, the full text of our quarterly magazine, IDRC Reports, etc. We are now in the process of developing a web server (http://www.idrc.ca), and we are interested in hearing the thoughts, advice, and experiences of other development organizations, on the following topics:- who do you regard as the primary audience for your gopher and/or web site? What were your goals in setting up the site? - what are your policies and guidelines for information providers? - how do you coordinate document selection, formatting, updating? - based on your experience, where do you see gopher and web technologies heading, particularly in the South?
I look forward to hearing from you,
