Dear Subscribers,


I would like to remind those of you who are thinking about taking
time off for a summer vacation or for a tour of duty. If your
vacation or your work takes you to a place where you will not be
checking your e-mail, please remember to set your account to "no
mail". It will save everyone a lot of time and effort and will
keep your mailbox from overflowing and the LISTSERV from
unsubscribing you to DEVEL-L. Setting your account to "no mail"
for DEVEL-L is easy. All you need to do is to follow these simple
directions below.


Send your message to:


     mailto:LISTSERV@AMERICAN.EDU (if you are using Internet) or


     mailto:LISTSERV@AUVM (if you are using Bitnet)


Your message should read as follows:


     Set DEVEL-L Nomail


     Example:


     To: mailto:LISTSERV@AMERICAN.EDU
     Subj: (you can leave blank the Subj line and enter your
     message immediately in the text message)
     Set DEVEL-L Nomail


When you return from vacation, you can resume your subscription
by sending the following to the listserv:


     Set DEVEL-L Mail
