Does anyone have any good experiences or case studies in the vein of what
happened with Cargill in The Philippines, concerning transformation from
traditional agricultural practices to western-style mechanized/industrial
agriculture, using high capital inputs, and hybrid seeds instead of
indigenous varieties? Any examples where this was a positive
transformation or where it was a negative transformation?
