Training Director, Mozambique


Counterpart Foundation is looking for a Training Director for an NGO support
program for Mozambique.  The Director will be responsible for managing a
staff of twelve local trainers and a program of training in a variety of NGO
management topics.  The Director will supervise training curriculum and
methodology and conduct quarterly training of trainers sessions.  This
 position is based in Beira and would involve extensive travel throughout
Mozambique.  Candidates must have: 1) at least five years experience in
training and NGO management; 2) proficiency in both English and
Portuguese--if you do not have strong skills in both languages, please do
not apply; 3) the ability to perform miracles while balancing a variety of
tasks and keeping a sense of humor.  A minimum two year commitment is
required.
