Roberto Jaime Deseda, Sewer
.jpg)
What happens when water and asphalt are combined? In St. Louis, Missouri, the result is the River Des Peres, a sewer. The “river” was once a naturally-flowing body of water, but as a result of the city’s growth, it has been paved over and polluted. It was, at one point, the largest sewer in the world.
