The Department of Special Collections has been able to conserve a growing number of rare books through the Legacy of Books conservation program. In this program, book lovers can adopt a book to conserve.
One such example is the Libraries' magnificent copy of Piranesi's Vedute di Roma, conserved with a gift from Jane and Lawrence Kahn in celebration of their 65th wedding anniversary.
