Washington University Papyri Collection

The Manuscripts Division houses 445 manuscript fragments, dating from the first century BC to the eighth century AD. The fragments were excavated in 1923 Sir William Flinders Petrie and the Egypt Exploration Society at the site of the ancient Egyptian city of Oxyrhynchus.
