I grant permission to Washington University to make an audio and/or video recording of the above presentation. I understand that this recording will be owned and maintained by the Washington University Department of Special Collections as part of its Modern Literature Collection for so long as the University believes said material to be of scholarly or historical value. The recording shall be preserved, organized, and made available for education and research in accordance with the University's Department of Special Collections access and use policies.

My name and biographical material may be used in connection with publicity about the event described above.

I grant permission to Washington University to use excerpts from the recording limited to publishing 50 lines of text and/or broadcast up to 90 seconds of audio for promotional activities.

I further grant permission to Washington University Department of Special Collections to present full text and audio of the following specific selections from my reading on their Modern Literature web site:

All rights in and to presenter's performance described herein shall remain the sole property of the presenter, and the rights granted herein are limited to archival, educational, research, and promotional activities.

This contract is governed by the laws of the State of Missouri and may not be changed except in writing and with signatures from both parties.
