The James Merrill Memory Project
The James Merrill Memory Project is a collaboration between the James Merrill Discussion List (hosted by the University of Missouri), The James Merrill Papers (owned by Washington University in St. Louis), and all those who shared James Merrill's life.
The process is simple. In the spirit of generosity and curiosity that characterized James Merrill, the project is interested in linking to and accepting for publication on the internet articles, reminiscences, memories, and images in a variety of formats (electronic files, paper, tapes, film, and other media). The "Memory Links" below will constitute a time-line mapping Merrill's travels, a geneology of his personal relationships, and a collection of impressions of Merrill. The goal is to extend and complement the story of James Merrill as documented by his papers.
