Both items are indices compiled by Beauregard in 1912 for the Missouri Historical Society and deal with Kaskaskia, Illinois (pop. 97), the site of the oldest town in the Western United States. The first index is to `Registre Des Mariages dans leglise De Notre Dame de L'Immaculée Conception aux Cascakias Nov. 20, 1741 - Feb. 10, 1834.' The second is to `Regitre[sic] Des Batemes dans l'eglise de [UNK] l'Immaculée Conception aux Cascakias, April 27, 1758 - June 18, 1815.'
